It is dream of ours to someday own a Christmas Tree Farm/Nursery....well...we aren't quite there yet...but Pete and I are starting some seeds indoors again this year. These are our Sugar Snap Peas and Romaine's here. Keeping the Northbridge Fire Department Busy.... When the Northbridge Police and Fire Departments aren't coming to our aid when the Burglar Alarm goes off unnecessarily....they are tackling Lawson Smoke-Outs like this one! Two hours after a pleasant evening of reading by a beautiful fire....smoke started billowing into the house. Pretty soon...the neighbor is calling the Fire Department and my Favorite Father-In-Law is throwing firey logs into the snowy yard. So...this one is for all those Fireplace Lovers like me....who should probably get their chimney cleaned before the next winter season sneaks up again!! Although...it was great meeting the guys from NFD. They really are awesome! They all knew "Red"...the fella that used to own our house...and we heard some good stories! In fact...one of the guys had some pictures taken here for his brother's wedding back in the day!
